Advancing awareness , Dialogue and Advocacy on Transitional Justice in South Sudan

This week,On 28th August 2026, the Center for Inclusive Governance, Peace and Justice (CIGPJ) hosted a landmark event at Aaron Hotel in Juba dedicated to advancing awareness, dialogue, and advocacy on transitional justice in South Sudan. The gathering brought together survivors of conflict-related abuses, civil society organizations, policymakers, and international partners, all united by a common goal: to push forward the implementation of transitional justice mechanisms outlined in the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) lawyers, faith leaders and law students are coming together in Juba to strengthen awareness and advocacy on transitional justice, healing, accountability and victims’ rights. Their voices and expertise are shaping a future where truth is acknowledged, survivors are protected, and justice is accessible to all
